What makes steel & foundry dust difficult

Sparks and hot particles

Unprotected media is burned through in weeks. A spark catcher at the inlet is not optional in a foundry.

Mixed dust and fume

Coarse sand and fine fume behave differently; one filter stage rarely suits both.

Heat

Extraction air can arrive at high temperature, which constrains media and housing choice.
