Cement
Cement dust is abrasive, alkaline and produced in volume. Filtration here is about holding airflow steady while the media takes a continuous load, and about maintenance that can be done inside a running plant.
What makes cement dust difficult
Continuous duty
Kiln and mill extraction runs around the clock; the collector has to clean itself in place without stopping the line.
Alkaline media attack
Cement dust is alkaline. Media selection and the sealing arrangement matter more than nominal filter area.
How we approach it
- Cyclone pre-separation ahead of the cartridge stage on high-load points
- Pulse-jet cleaning on a timer board with differential-pressure monitoring
- Wear protection on inlet ducts and wear plates on the hopper
